<p>I just got accepted at Georgetown . I have a couple of questions about the school which I have listed below. </p>
<p>1) Does Georgetown have housing for International students during Holidays?
2)What is the maximum amount of Financial aid available at Georgetown for an International student?</p>

1) housing during winter hols no, dorms close down for ALL students...during summer you have to pay xtra...for the semester hols dorms are open
2) gtown only offers 5 intl tuition scholarships...i see you got one..congrats...i'm on one too...</p>
<p>i'm intl too and will be the orientation coordinator so i will see you this fall at iPo</p>
<p>With regards to international housing, just make friends with someone and go home with them. </p>
<p>I'm from California, so it's semi-far to fly home so I only go home for summer and Christmas. During Spring break, Easter break, and Thanksgiving I stay here. The dorms are open, the only crappy thing is the dining hall is closed. Not that many people stick around, though.</p>

<p>hey sefago- or any international who got into georgetown- if u got aid, did u get your financial aid award with ur acceptance letter? If u didn't, how long after getting ur acceptance letter did u get ur financial aid award?</p>
<p>(I just got in as a transfer- I applied for aid and I know they have little or no aid for int'l transfers and so I quickly called the financial aid office to ask if I had an award coming up and the guy on the fone said nothing's up yet- So I'm wondering if it means I'll never get any aid or that they're still deliberating-)</p>

i20s will be mailed out by wed/thursday
we are waiting for the new student guide to come from the NSO office and then we will mail them out...
if you did not ask for them to be fed exed, pls re consider, coz reg mail takes a long time..
i am working at the office of intl programs as the intl orientation coordinator hence i know all this stuff, but i am incharge of the grad and exchange students...

you can email him and ask him qs...
but dont worry...your i20s will be sent out within the next few days...we will prepare the packets and you wll get them soon...
