I'm an incoming Filipino Freshman, and I was considering the possibility of transferring to the Wharton School for my sophomore year. My problem is the tuition. I initially planned on applying for aid, but then many people have been saying that it is next to impossible for a Filipino/International student to be given financial aid. How true is this? Do I have any other options? Thank you :D

I currently live in the Philadelphia area. I know several students, international and otherwise, who applied to transfer to Penn, got accepted but didn’t get enough financial aid to attend.

Financial aid is a crap-shoot for transfer students in general and almost non-existent for international transfers - all across the country, not just at Penn.

I agree with the previous posters. Aid for international transfers is very difficult to get. I saw in previous posts that Penn has a special policy for transfers from the Philippines? If you can, apply as an international freshman.
