International student: Smeal College of Business

Hi! I'm from Indonesia, but I've lived half my life in Singapore. My current residency status is in Singapore.

So recently, I've called the undergrad office of admissions to enquire about my application status... It seems like I've been accepted to my first school/major choice (Smeal/economics) but I've yet to receive the respective documents/information package.

Anyway... I'm curious regarding the international scene present in PSU-UP. I've read/heard negative remarks about the little diversity PSU has to offer (minimal interaction between the different races/cultures, close-minded arrogance/ignorance etc) Will I be able to adapt well to PSU's culture? (adapt, NOT blend in) Or is there truly a seperating barrier between the minorities and masses?

What about housing? Is there a dorm set aside specifically for international students? Or do you guys reckon that it will be better for me to enroll into SLO - Business & Society?

I'm quite flustered as it is nearing May 1st (where for most schools, you have to submit your acceptance fees by) I'm still considering between PSU VS UConn VS Drew University. (as an economics major) Although I'm leaning heavily towards PSU!
Any valuable input will be appreciated!

Oh and btw, any international students enrolling into Smeal? Or anyone for that matter :) Thanks!

Having visited PSU it's not that bad. Pennsylvanians are probably more accepting than someone from the South for example. I know there are some international students at PSU. I'm going and I live in PA.
