BRASA is the Brazilian Student Association at University of Florida. Through the slogan “Promoting the Brazilianness  at UF”, the 2016 team aims to show and export a little bit of this happy, tropical, industrialized, and contrasting 200 million people country. BRASA also highlights the importance of Brazil as the most representative country in Latin America, as an economical and cultural leader. Nowadays, UF has more than one thousand Brazilians students at UF, and almost one million citizens living in Florida. Connected with the Latin American Studies (LATAM) and the Florida-Brazil Institute at UF, BRASA is one emergent and potential association demonstrating that Brazil goes much beyond soccer and carnival, but some of these as well.
