International Student Transcripts

Is there no way to simply upload a unified and certified (by current high school) transcript through a portal? I don’t want the hassle of an evaluation company for internationally recognized grades like A Levels. I qualify for the Presidential scholarship but if there is no workaround to this issue, I won’t be able to apply. Any help?

I’m not sure why you feel you won’t be able to apply if you don’t have a ‘workaround’. There is no issue. Most universities, if not all, require some sort of certification for international transcripts - that is how they verify a schooling system that they are not as familiar with. You will in effect be uploading a transcript to the evaluation agency instead of directly to the university.

Why don’t you call or contact the international admissions office at UA and ask them your questions. Please be polite and respectful - they are doing YOU a favor, not the other way around. Here is the full webpage for reference: http://gobama.ua.edu/international/

I applied to the UK: only needed a scan of my current transcript which compiles my whole High School history in one transcript

I applied to Canada: Same thing

I’m applying to unis via Common App: No problem, counselor uploads the same transcript

Its only U Alabama where I’m having the issue. One transcript is from a International High School in Saudi Arabia following the US curriculum and one is of a High School following British A Levels - I, as well as apparently all of my others unis, don’t see the need for any extra evaluation.

I did a couple of hours ago. Hope I get a reply in time to send everything before the scholarship deadline.
