anyone? post major/stats please!

So, Kahlen, did you get accepted (and are you an international student)?

yes ..accepted. but dont know if it's kelley direct admit yet. still havent got the mail package.

Calcruzer, think i should go to IUB ? I want to study finance. Still contemplating over purdue, uiuc and IUB.

All three are good schools. Not much to do in West Lafayette, though (Purdue).

Both Illinois and Indiana are good schools for finance. Indiana has the higher-rated finance program, and the higher-rated business school (barely), but Illinois is rated higher overall than Indiana.

I'd choose Indiana, but it's a really close call. My best friend's daughter went to Illinois, majored in chemical engineering, and is now working at Google. My son is at Indiana and doing well and likes it.

Go visit the two schools (or all three since Purdue is also close to the other two) and see where you feel most comfortable.

yeah, illinois seems to be the overall higher-ranked uni ..

and IU's Kelley's got the investment banking workshop am i right?

i mean .. not many unis has such a workshop. is it useful? an edge over other unis? cause i'm looking at investment banking .
