International Students at HMC

Hey! I'm a 18-year-old girl from Singapore and I'm really jazzed about HMC - It seems really cool. I mean, the whole casual vibe, starting with the catalogue - Goodness, after seeing it, all those 1-inch thick catalogue detailing all the intricacies ("Blabla is a very established school whose 100 years of history have led to producing generations of upper-crust powerbrokers") seem drab.

I'm interested in applying for FA at HMC but it appears that HMC isn't need blind for internationals and the website says it's very difficult. Is it even possible for intels to get aid at HMC? Any internationals can share their experience applying for FA? And what about the difficulty level of admission to HMC as international?

Thanks!

Quick recap of my stats:
-Female XD
-GPA of 3.5 (UW) [My school is magnet school]
-SAT 1600CR+M, 2360CR+M+W, 800 MathIIC/Chemistry/Physics
-AP 5s for Biology, Calc AB/BC, Chemistry, Physics B/C, Stats
-IntChemOlympiad Bronze medallist
-300 hours of community service

I believe it is possible for internationals to get aid. However, applying for financial aid makes it much more difficult for admission because they only have so much funding for internationals.

As for international selectivity, HMC can be fairly harsh and unpredictable from what I have heard. So if it isnt necessary, apply without filing for financial aid.
