Does Dartmouth require applicants to send in the Certification of Finances? It does not say yes or no on the website.

Right now you turn in all of the information that the school is requesting.

Dartmouth is need blind and will meet 100% of the demonstrated need of all students it accepts.

many schools are not need blind to international students so your ability to pay is a factor in the admissions process. Some schools do not offer aid to international students. They may ask for certification of finances to see how you stand financially as a basis for admitting you (certification that you can pay).

You must have a certification of finances before you can get a visa to study in the US. Should you be admitted to Dartmouth, on your certification of finances, you will have to prove that you have the funds available (either to meet your EFC, or fees) and Dartmouth will certify that you are getting $X from them in order for you to obtain your visa.

Hope this helps
