-Run a successful fashion blog (20k+ regular viewers)

-Last report card was mainly Bs, not as good as I'd hoped but I think it was largely due to stress [parents were laid off, we have had quite a bit of economical instability, had to move house to smaller/cheaper location etc]

Thank you so much!
By good i’m assuming you mean 2100+ for the SAT score?

I would chance you if I could, but I dont think I would be able to give you a very accurate chance, as Im very new to this, sorry!

Bump! Id love more opinions!

yes 2100+ for sure. 2200+ will help tho. good luck!

thanks for your input!

600 views and only 2 people replied, please dont hold back guys, any input is highly appreciated!

I think the reason is you still have yet to take SAT and A levels. The scores from those exams are important criterion and ppl here need to know that to chance you. They are not familiar with HK curriculum.

thank you! I had not thought of that. The HK curriculum for me is just the British system by the way

bump bump bump

In short, you’d be a strong candidate for any top university in the world!! Just keep up your grades, get a solid SAT score and write good essays!!

Too early to chance though!! ~ SATs. Senior Year grades count!! :)

@JRswish, Why do you say that Duke’s a high reach? If anything, that’s a bit easier than the Ivies!!

Thank you rishav!
I have a question about the SATs too, as Im not overly familiar with them.
Are subject tests very important for me to take? And also, if I take the SAT more than once, say 2-3 times will it affect my chances?

It is advised you take the SAT for a max of 3 times. More than that and top colleges may frown upon your application. Also if you get a 2250+ on your first attempt, don’t take the SAT again cause 1.you’d be wasting time/money, 2.2250 & 2350 has virtually no difference & 3. Stats show that you might score lower!! :)

SAT IIs depend from college to college and schools within the college have specific requirements. Though, in general SAT IIs help show your preparedness for college and also adds to your application!!
Since you want to do law/journalism - I doubt there are any required subjects you have to take, so you have free will to take any of the SAT Subject Tests that you want to!! :)

Thank you so much for clearing that up for me!

bumping again! Im feeling terribly underprepared for my SAT next week :S

any more opinions?

preparing for SAT tomorrow, would love some more feed back!
