I am from Mauritania, a country in North Africa, i will be attending AU as a transfer student, where r u from? transfer or freshman?

duh, im such a doofus, it's in ur username. :P
i live in South Africa currently; originally, im from Serbia and Montenegro. and im a freshman! u?

i am a transfer, attending a community college now. will you live on campus, if yes in which dorm?

I just visited AU for the honors overnight/freshman day (btw I'm a non-international). There are lots and lots of internationals here. Like 10% of the freshman class. There is an entire dorm, Leonard, which is geared toward being the multicultural dorm. The non-internationals who live in Leonard seemed very enthusiastic about sharing the cultures and foreign food recipes. I got to play frisbee with a Russian transfer student who lived in Leonard who said that the administration is very accomodating.

thanks for sharing ur experience. yeah i've heard nice things the international student body in AU!!!

im not sure where ill be staying yet cuz im getting my package only on monday (long story). Ill choose then... and let u know! and u?

internations do live in other dorms becides Leonard. I live in Letts and my next door neighbor is from germany and 3 doors over, there is a girl from Japan.

At the same time, there are people who live in leonard who aren't international.
