International Students ED/EA/RD acceptance/rejected thread

Guys, please post if you have been accepted/rejected/defered by any college or university.

I was rejected from Amherst. :(

Deferred by Lafayette College.I’m quite sure that it was mainly due to my relatively low SAT (1760) and the fact that I needed lots of FA.Now I’m trying to find money for retaking SAT:)

Deferred by Yale.

Rejected by Yale, probably because of my LOW ACT and needing FA.

Deferred by Princeton (SAT:2390). It was probably my lack of major awards.

Sumin8246 Yale admissions are need blind.

Deferred at Georgetown

rejected Harvard SCEA. PROBABLY because of essays and, maybe, recs. However, two weeks before the decision release, I figured I wouldn’t want to go there if admitted anyway (wow, who wouldn’t want to go to harvard), so I’m not upset, but it’s all up in the air again till April with other schools (not applying to public ones b/c of FA).

Accepted Clark University !
So happy because it is my top choice and they gave me 25000K/year !
Didn’t submit SAT. GPA is good, really good essays and recs. International students who are looking to go to a good school that won’t challenge your ability to finance your education, look into clark !

deferred at amherst  i feel your pain op!
accepted at my state flagship’s honors program. my family can’t afford to pay the out of state tuition though.

I was deferred by Dartmouth College.

With ACT scores released today, I believed that I’ll get to colleges of my choice during the RD.

deferred from Yale also… don’t think I’m actually going to get in though

Hi guys! Deferred from Harvard which sounds like a kind rejection to me! Anyway I couldn’t expect much with 1970 SAT score!

Accepted Early to Harvard :)

I got accepted to Georgia Tech and Purdue :D

I got accepted to dartmouth :)

Accepted to Johns Hopkins:) Though they only provide a BA instead of a BS degree in my major, I’m quite satisfied for the acceptance.
