Hi, does anyone know when the form for 2013-2014 ISFAA will be online? I asked them and they told me it would be online after the 18, but nothing yet

I am also waiting for it. I emailed them on november when they said it will be available on January but nothing done yet.

Just checked the financial aid site and the ISFAA 2013-2014 is now online, it is in the “forms” section

Hey wiiplay4 I just read on the form that incoming students may apply for second year of university and should show funding of at least one year. So do you think I can apply for ISFAA as I am also am incoming student?

yes you can

Thanks alot.

I am not admitted yet as an aggie. Am I able to apply for ISFAA?

I think you can, although they ask you for how many hours you will enroll

I just saw a list of scholarships for incoming students on tamu website:

Academic Scholarships
Academic Achievement Scholarship
Challenge Award
Lechner Scholarship
McFadden Scholarship
President’s Achievement Scholarship
Presidents Endowed Scholarship
Corps of Cadets Scholarships
Dependent Children of Texas A&M Scholarship
Faye Leeth Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Honored Service Scholarship
Opportunity Award
University Colleges/Departments Scholarships

I was just thinking if international students are eligible for all of these or only those we selected on ApplyTexas application?

@wiiplay4. Did the ISFAA worked? Have you heard back anything from financial aid department?

It was processed and my financial need calculated, but they still haven’t offered me anything

Yeah , hope for the best.

anybody knows until when tamu offers financial aid?

Unfortunately, there aren’t many internationals here.

yeah you have to take the toefl

You don’t have to take toefl if your SAT reading score is above 500 [Required Documents for International Freshmen](http://admissions.tamu.edu/international/gettingin/reqDocuments/freshmen.aspx) .
I also didn’t took toefl.

Oh right I forgot about the SAT cr score that exempted you from the toefl, took it anyway hehe. My financial aid has been calculated, but I haven’t received anything still. Essay A and B are necessary, essay C is optional but you should do it anyway, it’s a boost I think and is needed for merit scholarships.

I only took the SAT and the toefl. Mmm, I haven’t read about international automatic admissions, I only know about the top 10% for texans. There are only about 5% international students I think, but that is because TAMU is a state college, so they have to admit a big percentage of texas residents. I was in 16% top and 1300 cr + math SAT and they admitted me very quickly.

Yes, you may qualify for academic admit with those stats. If so, you’re automatically in. You can read about it on their admissions web page. Academic admit.
