I never even heard about a financial bank statement that we needed to send until now. My counselor never told me about it, and this requirement was rather, written very obscurely in the requirement section. I just sent in my financial bank statement, but i'm scared i might have done it wrong, or that the post got mixed up. I sent everything in though--my common application, test scores all in time, just the financial statement is kind of late. Would the admissions faculty still review my application without the financial statement?

Also, do most schools allow faxed financial statements?

I am an international applicant like you and I’m not sure but, when I contacted Boston University, they told me to send it in by post-mail. I guess you should send it in by mail just to be sure they get it.

Did you send yours already? Am I the only one who thinks that sending each and every college’s financial statement by post is a bit more than inconvenient? I applied to 10 schools and about 6 of them require a sent financial statement. I’m sure, a lot of internationals like me, live in a country where they are not fluent in the language and also have inconvenient mail services. How do so many colleges require it be sent by post mail…

Also, can anyone answer my second question: Will the admissions still normally review my application without the financial statement? Also, what happens if my financial statement comes in late? What are the consequences?

uppppppppppppppppp
