Which law schools accept international students who takes undergraduate studies in an American college? Has anyone have the informaiton about how an international student applies for US law school?

I dont think its too much of a problem if you're applying after you've completed undergraduate work here in the States. Where it would matter is your residency status for state schools (UCLA, UC Hastings, Berkeley, etc). Even still, out of state (OOS) applicants still have a shot and are adequately represented.

what if you do undergrad at McGill in Canada? would that really negatively impact your chances?

I don't think so. McGill is a well respected institution. As I said, the only real difference would be for state schools, which typically give priority to those who are residents of that particular state. Here's a good discussion board that can answer questions about law school admissions and Canadian schools:

But being an international applicant does not make much of a difference when it comes to a professional school, especially when you're applying to a private institution. Its mainly the public institutions that are partial towards residents. (In other words, it is more difficult to get into a public law school as an international applicant than it is to get into a private law school). Hope this helps.

Thanks!!! It really helped!
