Well, many US students have heard back about their applications. I am an international student and I submitted my application in October. I have a 98,5/100 GPA but have no SATs. They are not required but I feel like it would be better if I had them. Anyways, I would appreciate if everyone shared their status.
Applied in early september. Haven’t heard back yet.
Nope i applied in early October (US)
II’m from Vietnam Your scores are great. Good luck
International students usually receive a decision much later from what I have heard. You should check out the thread from last year to see when you can expect to hear from them. I submitted the Major Entrance Scholarship in hope that I will hear back sooner. Good luck to you all!
I have another question. Do you think not having SATs is a disadvantage for an international student?
@idsarts99 SAT/ACT’s are only required for American applicants. There is no mention that they are even recommended for overseas students.
I applied from the UK and was accepted in December with a one-year entrance scholarship
anyone from asia?
@khanh229 I am
I applied in November, heard back in December and got “Further Review Required,” which surprised me since I have very, very high stats. I have to submit my end-of-semester grades when they are available in a couple weeks, so hopefully I’ll get a positive decision then!
^ I’m from the United States.
@lesjubilants which faculty did you apply to
Faculty of Arts
I’m a US student. I applied in late December and I got into the Faculty of Arts in mid- January. My stats are GPA: 4.0 on a 4-point scale and ACT: 33. I didn’t take overly difficult classes though. You still have plenty of time to hear back though, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. I hope you get in! Let us know when you hear
Yes. D heard 1/15 (applied end of Nov) and was admitted to Faculty of Arts.
We were told they won’t admit until first semester grades were submitted.
@Meganbtaylor
US does not really count as International. McGill considers the pool of non-US and non-Canadian students as a different category.
.
@student333z American applicants are considered international, just a separate category of international. Americans pay the international tuition rates.
