International students in the US!!

:p i think we should get to know each other so we can exchange some information since our situation is kind of uniqe.
ok~so first i'm going to introduce myself. i'm a junior and i attend a public high school in ca right now. i'm taking ap us history, ap cal, ap stat, ap es, japanese 2, h. english, and a general chemistry class at a community college. my sat score is about 2030...very low verbal score(570), low writing (660), and usual math(800) for in't students. i took only 1 sat ii (IIc :760)
i've been in the us for around 1 year. :P~~
so poeple~~ please introduce yourself and let us get to know each other. it will be very nice that we can exchange informaiton because we are in such an uniqe situation and face some problems like: foreign language requirement, tofel...etc etc

if u havent already come to know of CC lemme me tell u.......

Ppl here are already doing what u proposed for years ...
They dont need a sp. thread for introduction
They have their own sites of action where they hop play and question each other
what do u mean by introduce ur self.......plzzzzz explain.....

coz if stats and stuff....its already there
All queries are answered like that only
That is what International forum is all abt

"International students in the US!!"

it's a little different in a way! most of us here are non-us-resident internationals i guess... so maybe havin a thread for resident internationals is legit.

Im a high school junior living in the US right now and I plan to apply to go to college here. My grades are'nt stellar :( but hopefully i can receive some financial aid ( i heard financial aid for international undergrad is extremely rare and competitive...). Planning on taking the SAT in Jan 2006.

I'm a senior and I also live in CA. : )
I came here about 3 years ago.
My last SAT score was 2080, w/ 630 CR : (
I'm retaking it in december just to try my best you know?

My grades are pretty good, but I wasn't able to take many challenging classes like most of ppl here. I really regret not taking certain classes, but nothing i can do now : (

630 is really a good job for international student!
i really wish i can break 600

Yup no worries abt 630 dude.... u will do fine with it also because your composite is awesome too.....

And application as a whole will be important ..so why worry so much

and dont worry if u were not able to take challenging classes.. if u have done the best with what was there .. u are in no trouble..
