<p>I applied to all of those except for Johns Hopkins, Stanford and CMU. I am sure that the others (ones I applied to) require the TOEFL even if you have a 700 + on the SAT critical reading.
So take the TOEFL!!!</p>
<p>Stanford doesn’t require TOEFL, but “strongly recommends”.</p>
