I used to live in Korea and I came here about 2 1/2 years ago...
Does this mean I'm Korean or Korean-American?
Also, is there a lot of difference between the two?

btw I'm a US citizen

well, i think the real thing that matters is that you're a us citizen, not a citizen of korea

So... does it make it easier for me to make it in to boarding schools if im a us citizen?

I wouldn't count on it.

no it doesn't really

dude if you are citizen then ya AMERICAN

These schools have statistics....if you LOOK korean you are korean. Doesn't matter if only your parents were born there, when your going thorugh statistics they say well we accepted 30 koreans for the '11 class. That counts people that are american or striaght out of korea.

yeah mpicz is right. the only difference is the language barrier between koreans that have lived in korea all their life versus korean americans
