I have hardly any extra curricular activities as there arnt common from where i am but ..
Im part of the mentory scheme at the school were we talk to troubled younger students about bullying, abuse etc.
Im part of the Reading tutoring scheme were you teach younger students who have problems with reading to read.

I was in photography club.

I have work experience at Paul Smith.

I've had 2 proper Jobs.

I do alot of ART outside of school.

And thats it, i used to do dance and art club but im not sure if they count as it was a long time ago.

Sorry for all of that waffling but what would you think my chances are as my grades are pretty average:\ I will be getting an activity that is more based around sport. But other than that..
PLEASE HELP. If i could have some suggestions to make my application stronger then that would be awesome!

Which year are you in? (Sorry, I know British school years are different than ours so I just want to check. Do you have 1 year of school left or 2?)
One thing - you don’t mention any SAT scores here, so you will need to take the SAT and its subject tests. Or the ACT. That will also be a good indicator of how strong a candidate you are for admission to Middlebury.
To make your application stronger you will want to write really good, interesting essays. I don’t know what questions Middlebury asks but essays are always an important part of the application.
Sorry I am not too much help on the grades and all, as I’m not familiar with the British system!
ps - I love the way you speak! haha “proper jobs”!

Have you asked this question at the International Students Forum? You might get better advice there.

Hey NIIIICE!

I love his clothing, what an eye for prints and colour!

paulaturcotte - Im in year 12, so i have 1 year left of school. I dont do the SAT’s till later on this year but I have been practising since the end of year 10 so hopefully they will be good! And in reply to the essay, I hope it will be good. My Alevels are all essay based, and if my essay style isnt good by the end of my Alevels, God knows what i did wrong. But basically, I have ALOT of experience in essays lol. And thank you for the help though:)
