I am an international student myself at Rose-Hulman. My impression is that the school always tries its best to accommodate its students. The professors always welcome students for a talk in any academically related stuff. I think you will have plenty of time here for adjustment. One interesting fact is that most undergrad international students are Chinese (a least 80%). I am personally not from China (somewhere else in Asia), but I also fit in quite well. If you have any more specific question you can always PM (private message) me.

While we do not have a huge number of international students here, we do have a strong community atmosphere, so you will make friends and fit in quickly. I know several international students will go home with friends that live closer to Rose rather than making the long trip home for some breaks. We also have an active international student organization, so you can meet and hang out with other people who are in a similar situation.

The last two years have seen a large increase in the number of international students choosing to attend Rose-Hulman. This year is no different as it should set a new record for new international students. We would be excited to have you attend and are making preparations to ensure that you make a smooth transition to life at Rose-Hulman. If you have any questions, just let me know.
