International Studies at Fordham

I was wondering if people can give me some insight into the International Studies program at Fordham? My student has been accepted at Rose Hill. I am interested in hearing if people who are taking this course of study feel that there is enough choice in coursework available? Are these classes offered at Rose Hill? If not, how would that work? What are the internship opportunities, the feelings at the school regarding study abroad and what are the opportunities for study abroad? Where do graduates in this degree go after they graduate from Fordham?

I know there are a lot of questions there, but we are trying to weigh all options between a few schools. Fordham is less well known for this program than the other options, but is much more affordable with offered Merit money. Please help as this is a very serious (not to be overly dramatic) discussion going on in our household right now.

Thank you in advance for your help!

We went to an admitted student event today at Lincoln Center. They talked a bit about the International Studies program at LC. It seems like most of the classes are offered at both RH and LC.

Have you son email a professor at RH. My D has been doing that with a couple at LC and has found them to be quite responsive and helpful.

@flute1298 thank you that is good advice!

I’d also still love to hear from past no present students as well!

@aimster888 yes. You should get feedback from those in the program. Plus most of what heard was specific to LC

Anyone else care to give me some additional advice? It would be appreciated! Thanks
