International Supplement to the Common App

<p>Hi all,</p>

<p>I'm an international student currently aiming to study in the US in 2011. At first, I wanted to do all my applications online through the Common App, however the International Supplement is on paper.</p>

<p>Should I submit my general app and specific college supplements online and then post the International Supplement separately via snail mail?</p>

<p>Or do you recommend not to confuse the two? As in, either apply fully online or fully on paper?</p>

<p>The site itself advises not to mix and match, however it would simplify my life to do the majority of it online.</p>

<p>And do you recommend a date to start applying - when is it too late?</p>

<p>Anyone else going through it? Please help!</p>

<p>I had the same problem!</p>

<p>I’m from the UK and I’ve just submitted my common application and my “school counsellor” (basically our head of sixthform) has sent the secondary school report online. But she said she wasn’t able to submit the international supplement online. We’re planning to just submit it in by post.</p>

first of all thank u so much for the clear forum you have…realy it’s been longtime was searching for this…
i’m 22years old from tunisia…young man with big dreams…i had my technique baccalaueat at 26 june 2007 with the note quite good…i want to complete my education at the states…i tried to study ‘‘preparatoire’’ cycle technique here but than i stopped and get a job tried to save some money because my dream is to complete my education at the states nd i know that i can’t stop thinking about that that’s all i’m living for…
i have evrything ready…my papers are translated in english…i’ve saved some money…and for now i don’t know whats the next step?i realy do want get in your university,the programs,the goals,the pace evrything is amazing… but i don’t know what to do…i’m asking you for help…i spend more than 3years now working hard for the money and i’m growing up fast…i don’t want to loose anymore time…cuz time never wait…
i’m waiting for yr answer impatiently…

<p>Would you be so kind to comment more on the international supplement? I have almost filled my commonapp, and didn’t find a trace of the int supplement. What is it?</p>

<p>hmm…does a school need to put IS as a requirement in its description or is it an unwritten rule that all intl students have to send it?</p>
