International Test Discussions!

i'm pretty sure it can't be the same as june. that would just be so unfair. even if it was experimental, it issues a sense of confidence to those who have seen it before.

anyone mind telling me some of the contents of the art critique passage?? i just want to make sure whether i had it or not. i cant remeber well

cherry0809: you didn't have it? can you tell me what other passages you have?
iTransient: i hope you're right :) but how come people were tlkain abt it..there must be a reason why people said that...

i heard june had a monarch butterfly as an exp section o.o same as this i heard.
and the

@cherry, art critique is about this one guy reflecting his past experiences, and he became a critic himself through journalisms of someone he looked up to o.o

OO,i just remembered, did any of u get the japanese novel passage about learning how to paint, images and stuff??then the character wanted to be knowned throughout history after she died, and she loved a pic she found at the end or something

it was the Willa Carter one.

yea, that one was pretty okay,i think easier than art a bit =P
i dont care lol, as long as the "paranoia" SC section is fake, im OK!

kawaillgurl: sorry, now i know that i had the art critique passage
ren the sat's: i did not have the japanese passage

the passages i had were something like 1) a person who visited his wife's hometown 2) city designing 3) monarch butterflies 4) art critique, which one is the experimental??

^ wait ,i have all those too....
2 of the passages are in 1 section im sure..

it was either the wife's hometown or the city designing

ren the SAT, is there a japanese passage?? i m sorry for keeping asking this cos i basically rushed through everything, cant remember

"What's the highest score you think I'd be able to get for math if I'm almost completely sure I answered all my questions right, but I had to omit 3 in total (ran out of time )?

Wow did anyone else feel rushed for time on that test?? Compared to all my practice tests... oh boy. Writing was surprisingly ok (I'm a math person haha), but the reading part was just horrible.. ridiculously hard.

That was my first and last time lol, except for the subject tests but they'll be better I hope"

anyone? :P

math made me forget everything, i rushed through math sections but cr was quite ok. some answer choices were pretty obvious

It is unfair if the CollegeBoard used the art critique one as the experimental section in June and used it again as a real one for the Dec test. Those who took the test on June and repeated on December had an advantage for sure: 1 whole section!

zzz art critic is a real sectionl!...coz I had something about aliens, art critic and cowboys..and a math experimental section..so it must be real..

Sorry, I typed the exact opposite thing than what I intended to say. I meant someone said that art critic was used as a real one in June test too. Anyways, was the passage you got about a guy who seeks 'acknowledgment' by reading reviews of other authors' works? I mean it could be some other passage about the same topic :)

Netanel took the test on Sunday, right? It seems that most people here took the test on Saturday. Can you tell us more about the content of Art critics? My art critics version is about an adolescent period of an critics who judges the value of works by reading articles and listening others' opinions. He eventually feels ashamed about his early experience.

that was the same passage i had. there was this question about the medium between the two extremes. what did people get for that? i think it was the first or second question for that passage.

I put something about balancing, but I have a strange feeling that it's wrong.

it was like c right. i put that too, but i also think that's wrong.

for the dual identity double passage, does anyone remember what the answer was to the question asking something like "what was an assumption made by the author of passage 2 that the author of passage 1 didn't make"?
