Hi guys,
I was wondering about transcripts. I am technically a U.S citizen but I live abroad (UK). I was wondering, well really very thing about them. I think I get the they are kinda a big school report with grades and stuff. Am I right on that. Also does my school write it or do I write it? In the UK we don't have GPA is that an important part? Also I don't take lots of different classes with things like AP or honours (because in england we do a levels with 4 then 3 subjects) is that important.

Thanks,
George

You can get some help with this by contacting the EducationUSA office in London: [EducationUSA - Center Profile - US-UK Fulbright Commission - Fulbright Advisory Service](http://www.educationusa.info/Fulbright-UK) Every year there are a decent number of US citizens in the UK who apply to colleges and universities here, so the counselors at the London office should know how to help you get started.

You also should run a search for posts by JackUK and sarsfield who are US parents living in the UK. Some of their kids have already been through this whole process. If you send them PMs, they should be able to help you as well.

Wishing you all the best!
