The only concern is being an international student, which is a fatal attack:(
Any idea?

You have a high SAT score which is good but UNC is very selective. You have to have A LOT of community service hours and most of the kids who go there, are NC residents but then again, you do have a high score. Just keep what I said about being selective in mind.

Do you mean you’re an international student who’s currently at a school in America? If so, there is no limit on out of state or international students for transfers as far as I know. I don’t quite know the policies on international students in general, but I don’t really think it would be as much as a disadvantage as in first year admissions. Also, transferring as a junior is much easier than any other year.

@court922 Yep, I know UNC is very competitive especially for international students.

@jessimo093 Yep, I’m an international student studying at an American university. UNC has only 1%-2% international students, which is the lowest one I’ve ever seen. I’m really worried about that. But I’m also applying for USC which probably has the most international students among top American universities.

There are very few international students at UNCCH. Remember, less than 20% are from outside of north carolina. I don’t think your transfer chances are worse than those of an American from another state.

@keepittoyoursefl: I want to attend UNCCH partly because it has the least international students among all the top American universities.
