I am an international student currently enrolled in my fifth quarter at a community college in the Bay Area. Our school boasts the highest transfer rate to the UCs. However, those schools, as we all know, just added a huge percentage to their already expensive fees.

I am thinking of applying to University of Minnesota's BBA or Architecture program. I have 61 units done, including all my general education (CA IGETSE Standard.)

However, my GPA is currently at 3.1 only. What are my chances as an international student? My counselor told me that other states other than CA tend to be much easier on international students.

Hope to hear some insights. Thanks in advance.
