I am a second year BBS student at Delhi University (at Shaheed Sukhdev College of business studies.)
I want to transfer to a US university and continue business management undergrad from there.
My CBSE score was 91.2 %
My SAT score was around 1700 and I am about to take my TOEFL.
Universities are asking for credits but here in India, our courses dont have credits allotted to the, What do i do?
Any ideas on what the chances are or what are the other requirements i would have to fulfill??

credits = number of hours per week for each course (roughly - it depends on the college but we’ll go for simple :p). So if you have 3 hours of English per week and 5 hours of Business Administration, they’d be respectively 3 credit hours and 5 credit hours.
As for requirements, you should read the “transfer admissions” page for each college you’re interested in.

so does that mean it depends on the timetable i.e how much time do i have english classes in a week!!?
and do i similarly calculate this for my school subjects by checking mt timetable or what !!

American schools will evaluate your transcript and then tell you how many credits you will need to graduate.

But when i fill my Common Application form, they ask me to report my courses along with the credits. So i need to calculate that by seeing my timetable as i said?!

The easiest thing to do is to state a credit value of “1” for each class. (That’s what first-year applicants do when they come from high schools that don’t use a credit system.) If your university doesn’t use a credit system, any number you provide is going to be random anyway, so might just as well make clear that your arbitrarily-chosen-system doesn’t reflect anything real.

What all documents are required for transfer> and 3 LOR’S would be ok ?
planning to send my credentials to WES .
Any other suggestions people??

Every school will have its own requirements, which should be all listed on each school’s website. If in doubt, email or call.
