International Transfer Student from San Jacinto College

Hello everyone,

I have applied for international transfer admission to UT Austin for FALL 2018, and I am really worried regarding the admission decision , which they will post by the end of april. Please, look over my stats, and let me know if my transfer application to cockrell college of engineering is strong enough to be admitted.

Transferring from Community College
First Major :Electrical and Computer Engineering
Second Major : Mathematics

  1. GPA : 3.53 ( 80 Credit Hours)
  2. 4 Recommendation letter from MATH ,PHYSICS ,CHEMISTRY AND COUNSELOR
  3. Strong Essay
  4. Different community service and volunteering
  5. Member of PHI THETA KAPPA
  6. Completed maximum engineering pre-requisite courses ( Calculus I-Calculus III, Differential Equation, Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics for Engineers) ,( University Physics I, University Physics II, Chemistry I, Programming I , Programming II)
  7. Worked as a math tutor

Your GPA is not competitive for engineering, may be acceptable for math major. What are your GPA in all math, physics and programming courses?
