International Village (Parcel 18)

Anyone know if middlers and up can request housing here? I already have a place for next semester and would love to be placed inside this palace my middler year. I heard that they have one dedicated section that has apartment style housing that accomadates honors faculty. Does the rest only include honors students?

I am pretty certain there are no apartment style rooms in Parcel 18 except for the very few staff-only rooms. Here is the official info about it as listed on the floor plan website:

Parcel 18
Parcel 18 is our newest 1200 bed facility, located on the corner of Ruggles and Tremont Street. The construction is currently in progress but the building will be opening for Fall 2009. This residence hall features semi-private singles and doubles. The semi-private singles are made up of two single bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The semi-private doubles are made up of two double bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The building is designed to house mainly freshman and sophomores students. Parcel 18 will be home to the majority of new upper-class themed housing options. In addition to residential facilities, the new building will house a new dining hall with various international options, a cyber caf

if you’re an upperclassmen and have a chance at west village, go for that, it’s muchhh nicer. international village is very nice, but that is in comparison to stetson, white, speare, etc.

if you really want to though, i believe it’s the creative expressions and international llc’s.

I just got placed here and it’s really nice - super new, nice and cool from the AC, all that jazz. The only thing is, no kitchen - meal plan required. Anyone want to switch dorms with me? If you want something super nice and super new, but you’re not really into cooking (I love cooking - even thought the new dining hall kind of made my jaw drop with how much of an improvement it is from West and East), then let me know and I’d be glad to switch.
