To my lovely classmates, any college that’s been featured in a movie. Something that I find really, really funny for some reason. XD

Aside from that…I’d say Harvard, Yale, Princeton, UPenn, Columbia, Cornell, Brown, Northwestern, Rice, Johns Hopkins, Berkeley, Johns Hopkins, UCLA, Stanford, Carnegie Mellon, MIT. Maybe Duke and Dartmouth if you catch the right person.

similar to europeanmom in our country. HYPSM plus Columbia, Cornell, UPenn, UCLA, Johns Hopkins. A few maybe would recognize Chicago, Northwestern, Berkeley, Duke and Michigan. The others are all quite unknown.

In our country, the only well known Canadian school is UBC. McGill and Toronto are not known. No Australian university is well known in our country.

Harvard,

Dartmouth,
Brown,
M.I.T.,

I think the OP is asking which schools are internationally famous to be very good. I think the OP just gave a preliminary list.

In our country, BU and NYU are known but not exactly in a good way. Their reputation is more of backup schools for the rich who are unable to enter HYPSM and other top schools.
