their keeper letting in that goal more than compensated for all the 'luck' that werder got . .

whith that they were equal whith mistakes, but nevertheless Juventus won which brings that juve is the greatest team in the WORLD

Totally disagree. it maybe your favourite but it isnt the best team by a long way.

For starters , to be a great team (let alone being the greatest team) you need to have the right attitude and character. Something that the likes of Chelsea and Juventus certianly DONT have. Anyone can win games after using performance enhancing dugs and anyone can win free kicks by diving and fooling the referee (like Nedved).

Talking about great teams, Barcelona comes to mind first. Even though theyre not my favourite team I think they are the best.

i agree with you in only one point.Barca is a great team. about the other i have to say that i disagree. why shouldn't nedved simulate and win free kicks when he is able to do that. cheating is a virtue and you dont have to waste it just because others thing it is not right because they are not able to cheat by themselves. And about the characte. What do you think being able to beat Real Madrid 2 consecutive years after loosing the first match at Madrid is something that can be done by everyone? It's true that juventus may not do the most enjoyable football in the world but it is decisevely (together with barca) in the podium. 29Matches in chamionship and just one lost? Does this seam something of a characterless team. I dont think.

aye...all footies here!!!

anyone play the 'gentleman's game'???

eh... i may infer that you are unable to cheat... u are quite the opposite of me... by this i don't want to say that i am a vivid cheater but if cheating will abviously encrease my chances to win i wont think it twice... however this is my philosphy and of juventus as well. That's why juventus is my favorite team, BTW what is your favourite team?

no i meant cricket.... its called 'gentleman's game'

the reason for juve's defensive and sort of boring way of playing is capello. but you cant doubt them cuz they are a wonderful team. but....the diff between them and barca is ronaldinho.

Firstly i want to apologise with Arjun Shankar Prakash. I didnt understood u at all. And second i totally agree with sachit. Ronaldino (the best player ever borm) but i have to add Messi who is a great player too. Nevertheless i want to see Juve-Barca in final even though i want a revenge on Milan for the 2002-2003 final

Olsi . . Im a Nerazzuri. :D:D So now you know where my arguments come from ?

I believe in playing football on the football pitch , and not 'who can buy off more referees' or 'watch how I can dive'.

Winners aren't always great people you know ! Winning and greatness are somewhat disconnected concepts.

Sure Juventus win, but theyre not great ! Youre probably confused on that thingy.

And before you rub it into me, I already know that Inter have won a Shoodetto from 1989 but atleast their not cheaters like Juevntus (like you yourself have admittted about Rubentus) ;)

And thats why its my favourite team.

I like to see some of the bigger clubs take the Lyon approach to the game. Its a combination of a fast attacking game of barca with a gritty chelsea defense (definately not italian style). If only Lyon had a few bigger names then they'd definately be a great team.

The difference between Juve and Barca starts from the mentality of the coach - Capello vs Rijkaard. Rijkaard is free flowing attacking football, Capello is kinda the opposite.

Some players that differentiate Barca from the rest of the world are Ronaldinho, Messi, Eto'o and Deco.

Oh and Olsi - where was your 'character' when you bought off referees ? Where was it when Nedved clearly dived in the 89th minute against Inter and won a free kick because of which Juventus won ? Where was it during the doping scandal ?

And where is it during your games against us at the Delle 'Empty' which you seem to loose quite often ? :D

@ rishabh. what r u blind? the faul at the 89th was clearly a faul. u see i am from albannia and italy is next to me so i can watch italian football programs like CONTROCAMPO at ITALIA 1 channel. Firstly, only manchini pretended that for a simulation, everyone in the room agreed it was a faul. Second, y r u so sure that we buy referees. i think that u r not able to win a championship so you blame Juve or Milan or the referees. I dont see a character in doing this. Spending billions of Euros in buyng "champions" like Ronaldo, Adriano, Figo, Veron, and win what? Nothing. Inter has big problems and their r not the players, but the lack of desire to win(character)

BTW the champinoship in italy is not the shoodetto but the Schudetto

Firstly, I know what the championship is. Its not even the Schudetto its the Scudetto. But I like to call it the Shoodetto.

Secondly . . go over to the Inter forum on xtratime.com and you will find atleast a thousand different people from different teams calling that Nedved dive a foul. For that matter, since you have access to Itlian football programs listen to the comments of Massimo Moratti as well. Its not often that he speaks up like that against Juventus. And when he does its probably because its something big. You KNOW Nedved is a diver and so does he and so does the rest of the world. Juventus just don't wanna accept it.

Thirdly, as Ive said before, you dont show character by winning matches. But you definately show it by coming back year after year with the same desire to win - like the Nerazzuri have shown.

Fourthly, Veron came to us from Chelsea on LOAN. Figo came to us from RMad for FREE because his contract ended. Cambiasso also came from RMad real cheap. Adriano was Inters OWN player who got loaned out to Parma and came back later. Ronaldo - he's no longer an Inter player and thank heavens for it. So I don't really see your million euros being doled out in the past 2 seasons.

Fifthly, you being in Albania doesn't give you any better a view of the football pitch than mine ! What I saw on TV was the same damn S HiTe that you did ! Listening to others comments on whether he dived or not dusnt make a DAMN difference.

Sixthly, I never blamed Milan for buying referees. But Juventus certainly do. They even buy over magazines like Gazetta dello Sport to write articles in their favour. Welcome to the real world mate. Its funny that I have to tell you about Juve-'merda's wrongdoings. :D:D If you bet me a euro per a refereeing decision that goes in Juve's favour from now until the end of the season, I would not need to ask for any financial aid from anyone. And that's saying something. ;)

hahaha. ur really funny (sincerely talking: not ironically) especialy the next to last sentece made me really laugh. ok i think it's my turn
1. sorry for the correction i did to your Shoodetto but i thought you knew it wrong. nothing malicious with that.
2. Of course Moratti will cry out against Juve or the refferees that way... there have passed more than 16 years since he won the last championship and 14 since the last important trophy. It's the only thing that he can in order to keep those poor fans still love him.
3. To have desire to win doesnt mean to win. Wich mean that you loose. And a team wich looses every important match (juve inter 2-0 and Inter Juve 1-2) i think has not a big character, nor shows any big desire to win. Inter shows the desire to win only after the match, just by faulting the referees for inexisting fauls or penalties.
4. Cannavaro, Vieri (thou you bought it long ago), zanneti(J), AND RONALDO were extremely high bought players these last 15 years, but nevertheless u manged to win just 2 inutile Italy cups. Exactly you have spent 680 millions euros in these 15 years and never won anything important.
5. By being Albanian i didnt mean i know more things than u about football at all. I just wanted to say that the coments i was talking about were of italian critcs (both juventus an inter or even impartial) who all agreed that the victory of juve against inter was fully deserved.
6. I don't want to talk anymore about referees corruption because we have already consumed that topic (at least i have). ABout every refereeing decision in favour to juve it is called "favor to the BIG ones". If just juves manager was as idiot as inter's they would have as found as many fauls in favour of inter as in favour of Juve.
7. Why, if inter has lost all the championships because Juve buys the referees, has inter never won an international cup these last years. I dont think you even pretend that juve buys international referees also. Then u would be a perfect interista.

waiting your coments...

Your argument about referees is baseless. referees are in juve's pocket. and thats a fact. no more argument on that.

Id rather choose not to win than win with the help of the refs.

I never said that Inter is a better team on paper than Juve. So I am not complaining about the relatively more success that Juve has got in the CL. I just have an issue with their stinking attitude.

Anyway - Im sure some scores will be settled in the semis of the CL this year . . thats if your fascist keeper Buffoon doesn't choke up against a young Arsenal side. :D

Aside from the issue, that bets on mate ! You scared of losing ?

hahaha. i would really like to meet you in the semi but i am not sure we will. though arsenal may seem a young team it is really strong. last year it beated the record for the longest unbeated team in chamionship. also it has champions like henry, pires, reyes, campbell and lehman. it is not a team to be Underestimated. i am not saying that we.re gonna loos but i do not feel confident with the victory. but dont underestimate villareal, my friend... we will talk again on april 05

I like how this thread went from college discussion to ... sports.
