How did you manage to find out, Rishabh?

so sorry for u brother... cheer up man... who cares... lifes goes on and i'm sure it goes always for better.

who cares if it goes for better or for worse . . all i know is that im not all that happy with it right now . . and one of the main things i want from life is happiness ! well forget that . .

jeanatkin - i am SO sorry to break this to you but if you havent got a letter from them yet then you are probably rejected as well. those who got in got a 'priority' mail . . ie they got their adm letters on

Call me Jon. Everybody, call me Jon.

Well, since I didn't get my FedEx today (Max tomorrow, counting in all delays and trusting the FedEx website), I'm either rejected or waitlisted.

Ah well.

I'm doing whatever I can to convert my waitlists to acceptances. Another admissions process, another adrenaline rush. I got waitlisted by Vassar today.

So it's Vassar, Oberlin, Middlebury, and Trinity.

VOMiT. Woah.

Anywho, yeah, I can't believe it's the end either. We worked so hard, and for what?

wow! i think you have a great chance at all of these schools ... i think if it will be a good idea to apply ED to your first choice college (if they allow that to intels)

Thanks so much for the reply!..

OMG, Silentium, you are so qualified!!! You should be able to get into each of those schools, no worries. The unfortunate thing is that the whole admissions process is very random. Albeit, you seem to be a great applicant, a number of factors may dull you chances, I suggest a longer list with a broader range of colleges (because you just can't use Wash U as a safety. Although it may not seem like it now, there is still the chance that you may get burnt)

That said, your chances do seem very good to me (but I'm no expert)

Hey thanks Switch, haha. thanks for the advice! saw far too many examples of people being burnt in this forum , US admissions are so unpredictable.. what universities are you applying to?

Silentium, I have already applied (and gotten in) to a couple of schools. I'm going to Amherst in the fall. It was my first choice. I frankly believe that it offers the best undergraduate environment in the US!!!
