I'm from Thailand and I just got accepted into Wharton - University of Pennsylvania (class 2011) so I'm looking for any other international students who also got accepted into Penn or Wharton... please leave ur messages here! ^_^

errr what are u stats and are u applying for aid? if so, how much will u be able to contribute per year?

I applied ED to Penn (CAS) and got deferred.

you'd be best answered if you posted in the Penn forum, you'd get the most results there.

i didn't apply for financial aid as penn is not need-blind towards internationals...having said that i'm gonna apply for other scholarships from outside sources though (i heard that there are loads of them and you could apply for them now until like your junior year)

and thank you, k_twin for ur suggestion :D and i did post this same message on penn's board as well... but so far i got more replies here :)

P.S good luck b@r!um during the RD round!! :)

:D sure did put my foot in it then... I'm applying RD btw to Jerome Fisher...

hey puccairl i also got accepted to penn wharton and i am also paying full but i also need scholarships so do u have any info regardin scholarships and where are getting them from . please help a fellow whartonite.

manuarsenal - are you also in wharton '11? that's great!? where are you from? and yes... there are quite a number of websites if you google it, but check out www.fastweb.com - that's a really good one about both colleges and scholarships :)

don't depend too much on outside scholarships; they are useful for patching up loose ends but it is really difficult to actually finance your entire education using outside schlarships only. So unless you win one of those Rotary Club scholarships or something similarly colossal, you shouldn't count on receiving more than $5000 from outside scholarships.
