well....it's ok cuz my first choice was rice, and i got in ed. uchicago obviously saw that i wanted to go to rice more than there, and i didnt seem very passionate about uchicago...i dont like cold weather. lol.

do you know any internationals who received emails?

have you found out which courier?

ahhhhh

none. don't know of ANYONE recieveing an email. i haven't got any email too. and it's...um...9 pm monday in IL.

my boss is asking me why i look so distracted this morning. he told me to wait at home and take the day off if i needed.

Actually I think there is a way to find out...

Call UPS, DHL, and FedEx and check if their is a package coming to your address - if not, you're deferred or rejected.

hehe of course i know i can. just ... don't have the guts. :) anyway are you expecting to be accepted?

no...what kind of question is that? hehe

I called FedEx and they said they don't know if something is coming to my address at this point, but they told me if a package was sent on 15th, it should arrive tonight or tomorrow morning. Ahhhh...why won't they just send the email?

University of Chicago sends decisions via UPS.

ooooo. thanks

I called UPS and they said even if it was postmarked 16th, it would've arrived yesterday.

Now all I need to find out is whether I'm deferred or rejected.

Good luck to everyone else!

"I called UPS and they said even if it was postmarked 16th, it would've arrived yesterday. " - so disappointing!

i e-mailed UChi...

''We will send email notifications later this week.

Jerry "

that's y nobody got any e-mails

i dont think ill tell uchicago...ill just leave them hanging. lol. unless i get in, and then ill apply. But the thing with uchicago is: i didnt do the alumni interview, didnt visit the campus, didnt show that i really wanted to go to uchicago in my short answer, and i just didnt put that much time on my application...like it had arrows in some directions. haha...bad me, but my essays were really good...and pretty! haha.

whereas for rice: i did the oncampus interview, overnight stay, infosession, and just everything i could do to show them i was SUPER interested!

but ne who, good luck those who are still waiting!

elemental, just call UPS and ask if a package is headed your address. If not, just forget about it and go watch King Kong.

I'm not really upset about my deferral/rejection, but it is quite irking that I have to get my decision this late. :(

Well, good luck with the rest of you internationals.

btw, elemental, is that jerry, jerry doyle? He was my counselor. heh

yea.. chanky called.. but they needed tracking no.

yes jerry is jerry doyle
