Internationals @ MOHO

HI
Im from New Zealand and want to go to MOHO for entry in 2007-2008 academic year.....What are my chances??? I have no idea!!!! Need some help from some people who know what they are talking about cause there isn't much help in NZ...

GPA: 3.6
Subjects: English, Art History, History, Statistics, Biology, Classical Studies
SATs: haven't sat them yet
ECs: 1st XI Soccer (9-12), Underwater Hockey (9-12), Peer Support (helping out new kids in the school), Leadership Training (10-12), Speech and Debate, Ball (prom) Committee, and I'm Deputy Head Prefect (like school captain)....

I have done volunteer work as well but extra curriculars/volunteer work other than sports aren't considered very important in NZ, the only thing universities look at over here are your academic results. Mine are quite strong I'm definetely in top 10%....But I'm not sure if colleges will understand what schools are like in NZ.....

and i forgot to say that I will be first generation, come from a public school, and a single parent family!!

well your credentials sound strong to me. SATs and the like are not really required for MHC apps but I guess it gives them a rough idea. You just have to have a good record of experiences and a strong application essay, I think. Good luck w/ high school.

yah like kalsang said, xxkiwixx ur credentials are strong, since ur in to some ECs and and fall in the 10% of ur class- it'll definitely help you :)

wow! what is that? it sounds awesome tho

I just got accepted! :)

Congrats.. Yukster! See you at MHC.

any intl students got anything other than admission letter or financial aid package.

got the intl certification of finances form

has anyone got I-20?

They're supposed to send it out to us in May, after they get our COF form. =]
