Internatonal student, enlisted in MAVNI and major in pharmacy

I’m Korean who’s living in states for more than 8 years and I’m entering my senior in upcoming school year.
I want to major in pharmacy and Im also thinking of being enlisted in MAVNI and get US citizenship
and become Navy or Air Force pharmacist.
and i got some questions for this MAVNI program and majors…

  1. can high school student be enlisted for mavni program?
  2. if not, can I be enlisted when I enter college with pre-pharmacy major?
  3. or should I just join army after I get a degree, like 4-years degree?

Please give me more information about MAVNI and pre-pharmacy major for international student
I know its really hard to get sponsor to give out H? visas nowadays… is there any ways I can stay in the states and be a pharmacist?

Have you tried googling info on MAVNI?

yup… I did but it werent to specific enough…or maybe its just my understanding problem… :expressionless:
anyway, I am also concerned with going with pharmacy major because MAVNI doesnt have pharmacist on their medical professional criteria…

From what I understand, you need to currently be a medical professional in one of the listed areas and/or be really proficient in your language as well as in English. http://www.goarmy.com/content/dam/goarmy/downloaded_assets/mavni/mavni-general-information.pdf

You have to be a high school graduate and have a current visa.
You have to meet qualifying scores on the AFQT.

The medical career has to be an “in-demand” career and that does not appear to include pharmacy.
(Right now, in the US, there are too many pharmacy schools graduating too many student and not enough jobs.)
