<p>I know uva has wifi , but I want to get a Ethernet cable just in case. Does each room have an Eternet access on each side, by the desk or only one per room? I try to decide if I need a 6 footer or a 20 footer. I don't want a long cable if I don't need to run it across the room.</p>
<p>If I recall correctly, there was one hook up on the same side as the cable tv connection. We bought a very long Ethernet cable, plugged it in, and it was never used; the wi fi was fine.</p>
<p>I’m pretty sure there is a port on each side, but you should be fine with wifi.</p>
