Internet Optimizer is taking over my computer!!

<p>Internet Optimizer is an error page hijacker!! Does anyone have experience with this? Can someone help me get rid of it, please??!! It's sooo annoying and driving me insane!!</p>

<p>Here's what I found on google:</p>

<p>How to remove Internet Optimizer manually:</p>

<p>The following dll files should be unregistered;</p>

<p>%windows%\System\iopti130.dll
%windows%\System
em207.dll
%windows%\System\wsem210.dll</p>

<p>These files should be removed;</p>

<p>%windows%\System\iopti130.dll
%windows%\System
em207.dll
%windows%\System\wsem210.dll</p>

<p>Internet Optimzer can partly be removed by going to the Control Panel in Windows and clicking on "add/remove programs". Look for the entry "Active Alert" and "Internet Optimizer" and remove it. </p>

<p>***I've already removed the program from my control panel. Now how on earth do I unregister dll files???</p>

<p>Go to Start > Run</p>

<p>Type: regsvr32 /u <dll file=""></dll></p>

<p>for each of them</p>

<p>then go delete the files.. :)</p>
