Internet service

hehe, m1817, that sounds a little funny because I do not know the condo neighbors yet. I have not moved into the condo until this friday

xtra, when you move into your condo, turn on your laptop and check for wireless connections. If you get five bars, its probably from an adjacent condo. Go to the condo, tell them you are just moving it and don’t have internet service yet. Then ask if you can use their wireless connection until yours is installed. If you strike up a good conversation, you can offer to pay half for using their connection on an ongoing basis. Unless they are big into gaming or downloads, they might like the opportunity to lower their internet service bill. If this doesn’t work work the first neighbor you ask, try another one. This is also a good way to meet your neighbors.

Hmm… m1817, that sounds like a good suggestion. So I knock on their doors and ask them if I can share the internet???

xtra, knock on your neighbor’s door, tell them you just moved in, and you don’t have internet yet. Then ask if you can use their wireless internet connection until you have your internet installed. If you and your neighbor hit it off, steer the conversation to the possibility of sharing their internet permanently in exchange for sharing the cost.

Thanks m1817, I will try it.
