<p>I can’t actually do that at the moment because the wireless isn’t working for me in my room so I am using ethernet. I’m in Manzanita Village and the wireless doesn’t reach my room (but it works in the lounge and studyroom for me) so I just resort to using ethernet which is really fast.</p>
<p>Additionally, the library internet works pretty well unless you get into the higher LVLs. Generally no chance to get a good signal on the 8th floor. </p>
<p>Around campus there are a few wifi spots, including the Psych building and around it. But there are a few dead zones. :(</p>
<p>But really, there’s nothing to fret about the internet, I’ve always had it when I needed it.</p>
<p>You can still run the speed test on the ethernet connection. I remember it being 1.5mbps download/something like 400kbps download back when I was in the dorms.</p>

<p>Mind you, I’ve been capped to that recently since I did a rather lot of <em>cough</em> <em>cough</em> downloading. I’m usually capped to about 1mbps on most sites now, but I used to go as fast as the site would allow me (8mbps+). </p>
<p>Another thing to note is that you only get unlimited speeds/bandwidth from the hours of 1AM to 1PM. After that, you will slow to a crawl after 768mb of downloading.</p>
<p>Dang, that’s a lot faster than when I lived in the dorms. Do they still make you install that annoying Cisco Clean Access Agent?</p>
<p>Well I play xbox for about an hour a day, and I’m accustomed to about 20 mb/s down and 2 mb/s upload. Anything above 5 down and 1 up is good, but I wanted to be sure it was decent.</p>
