Internship after college

I was unable to participate in my communication college's internship program, and I had to work while attending my last semester in college. I graduated this year, and how long will I have until I am no longer qualified to apply for an internship after college?

What have been your experiences like applying for internships after college? What types of companies or career fields do you believe are more lenient towards accepting recent graduates for interns?

Finally what is the average GPA requirement for most internships?

Most reputable companies do not sponsor internships for people who are not students at a university.

You are eligible for two years after graduation from a university.

There usually isnt a GPA requirement as long as you can network effectively.

It depends on the major. I have seen plenty of engineering ads that are advertised as internships but when you read the ad they want a new grad.
