If you get an interview at a company and you do not go to their info session because you already know most about the company, does that look bad? Just wondering.

I wouldn’t hire you.

If the info session was part of the interview, then I would take that as a lack of interest in the company. Lack of interest = no offer. Doesn’t matter how much you think you know about the company (and you may not know as much as you think).

Well I didn’t have a ride to the info session (I’m without a car at college and the info session was at a restaurant in downtown). The info session was an optional, RSVP type of thing.

No ride? Catch the bus. Ask a roommate, friend, or somebody else who is attending if you can catch a rid e.
