I'm a sophomore in college now and I'm interesting in doing an internship at a Fortune 500 company this summer. Can you guys give me some advices on how to get recruited?

For example, what is the best way to submit my resume? Do I go to the corporate website directly? or attend job fairs at school.

Anything helps. Also, what are some other resources that can help me?

it's already kinda late tho for prestigious internships, so I'll also suggest networking with alumni from your school working in those companies- I tried it and it worked- for instance I was going to apply to JPM but the deadline had passed for non-core schools- I contacted a school alum to refer me and bingo! the recruiter had no trouble reviewing my resume even tho the deadline passed weeks ago---

alumni networks usually work, so pursue that vigorously as well...

Most career centers on campus should have some sort of recruiting program where you drop your resume online with the career center, which then allows employers to collect them all at once--whenever we've had presentations from I-banks and consulting firms, they've always told us never to directly email recruiters (because those just get tossed immediately as spam) and to instead do resume-drops through the career center.

Your best bet at this point is probably, as other people have said, to try to work any connections you may have. But just know that this is difficult--I've known people whose parents have helped them contact people as high up as VP level in major i-banks, and the standard response from these people has usually been that they can help make sure your resume gets reviewed--but can't guarantee anything beyond that. It's definitely worth a try, though... good luck!
