<p>So my dad is pushing pretty hard for me to go to UMCP. He brought up that the Rockville area in MD had more bio business than Madison. I know UW's biology programs are better than UMCP's, but what about the intership opps in the area? I'm planning on majoring in biology, probably biochemistry or molecular biology.</p>
<p>UW has connections with major biotechs nationwide. You don't have to just work in Madison. For regular on campus work there is so much going on a paid research asst. job is not hard to find.</p>
