Internship question

So in 2010 and went to a local university. Basically screwed up and realized I needed to leave so I did after wasting 2 years. I transferred to a local branch of a top 10 public university. I recently left my job and started looking for a new one. I went to an interview and was pretty much offered an internship. I told them I lost a year at least when I transferred even though I am a "junior." They wanted some class schedule/plan I gave them a quick plan up to 2015 like an hour or two after the interview.

After doing more thorough research into the classes the plan is basically impossible.

I got an email giving me a possible start date asking if im interested still. I replied yes.
Should I turn this down if offered?
Should I accept and see how it plays out?

The internship is for an automotive parts supplier.
They explained that its as long as I want it with possible hire after graduation.
pays ok. 15$ /hr with gas
My main experience is doing product design work for the last 2-3 years.

Let it play out; internships are valuable experience.
Plans are always subject to change. Don’t let that bother you too much because they probably expect that something could go wrong.
