Internship Questions, community college to University.

just got into my program at university. Haven't done any classes there and only have transcript data at community college.

Can I still place that University on my resume, should I? How can I play it off to get an internship even though from cc?

Your resume should include the schools you attended and the years. Once you are at the U then I’d just put >>>>>>University. Expected graduation Spring 2016 or whatever. Others may have a different opinion for you.

I would insert a sentence in the resume that simply and succinctly says ‘admitted to, and will begin studies for the engineering major and xyz University, August 2013.’

Or in your Education section just list it. It shouldn’t matter. They will know you are a transfer student. Just list the relevant coursework that pertains to the job listing.

EDUCATION:
XYZ University August 2013- current
ABC College August 2011-August 2013

After you complete your first semester, then I would just drop the college off the list.
There are different ways of doing it. Ask the career people at your new school how you should format your resume.
