Hi everyone.

I understand that 'soft factors' factor very little into law school admissions. I have a choice between working as an intern at an international human rights organization and volunteering a couple of months as a tutor/mentor at a Catholic community center. Obviously the former is more prestigious... but will it make any difference at all in my law school admissions? I would slightly prefer the latter option (b/c of personal reasons...).

Also... are internships necessary at all? How much do they help (if at all)? Does it matter if you have no internship experience at all when you apply?

Thank you
