I'm currently a high school senior, and I'm looking for an internship to do, possibly over the summer. My interests are political science, history, environmental analysis/science, marine biology and foreign languages. I have looked for hours on google but I can't seem to find any for high school students. I know that this is due to lack of experience but if anyone can tell me of a website or something that can help me I'd appreciate it.

Where do you live?

In my experience, websites are completely useless unless your enrolled in college.

My course of action would be to email nearby university professors to see if they need help with research, since that's a connection that'll come in handy if you should ever decide to go to graduate school. (Since research experience is like the #1 most important factor for grad school admissions)

Maybe a stupid question but did you check your high school's work study department? Ours offers early release during school to work at local businesses (not mcDonalds either) and jobs can continue through the summer.

I live in LA, in Artesia. I have checked at our school's career center, but they do not have anything.

You can contact your local state/Congress representative or even city council to see if you can get an internship. They typically do offer internships to high schoolers, and you could maybe try and find a member who is especially active in environmental issues.
