Hello guys,

I am going to be a freshman at Cornell this fall. At my school, like everyone else goes to Japan, and I am kind of sad I am the only one heading to US.

I just heard that my HS mentor, a sophomore at MIT, is going to intern in Japan for the summer three months, and I am just so jealous.

OK, so is this even possible? Thanks!

Certainly, why not? I currently have a Cornell friend who's interning at a consulting firm there. Though you will have to look and apply for internships on your own because companies don't typically come onto campus to recruit for their Japan office.

That is cool! Does anyone know how hard it is to be recruited? And will I have to work for the whole three summer months?
