Internships Vs Graduating on time

I am a student at Texas A&M University and I live in NY, I am supposed to be in my second semester of junior year with 75 credits but I only have 58. I dont know if I should intern during the summer or dedicate my time taking classes so I graduate on time. Or if I should transfer home to Pace University where I can be close to NYC and intern during the semester while taking full time classes and take classes during the summer. I dont know if I am overthinking the importance of interning. I am a Political Science major and my main goal is to acquire a job right after graduation. Please help me, I am scared I am running out of time and when to get out of school as soon as possible.

P.S I have checked for internships at A&M and being a college town far from any major city, I saw nothing.

There was a reason for you to choose A&M. What was it?

What happened to get you off schedule at A&M? You are about a semester behind where you should be if you were carrying a full load. Do you think that that problem would be resolved if you were at Pace?

If you do want a job after graduation, the best way to ensure that is to either have a paying part-time job while you are in collegs where you are getting meaningful experience, or to have a paid/unpaid internship related to your potential career field. If there is truly nothing available where you are now, then yes, it makes sense to transfer.
